The Alberta Main Street Program
Since 1987, The Alberta Main Street Program has helped communities to revitalize their historic commercial districts. As a partnership of the Alberta Historical Resources Foundation, Alberta Culture and Community Spirit, and the Heritage Canada Foundation, this program has partnered with 23 municipalities throughout Alberta.

Camrose joined the Alberta Main Street Program in 2000 and the Camrose Main Street Project supported the restoration and rehabilitation of 16 buildings. The formal project, operated by the Main Street Advisory Board, concluded its program at the end of 2008. One of the final projects is the restoration of the façade of the Bailey Theatre.
