The City of Camrose has a number of twinning arrangements with communities outside of Alberta:

• Kamifurano, Japan
• Warwick, Australia
• Chicoutimi, Quebec
• Kentville, Nova Scotia

These communities are all similar to Camrose in size, climate, geography, economics, and culture.

In 1999, the Camrose / Japan Friendship Society was formed. Kamifurano is our most active twinning commitment, and to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the twinning, a four-faced clock was installed at the front of City Hall in 2007.
