Mount Pleasant Drive Overlay 43 - 48 Avenue
Overview
Mount Pleasant Drive was originally constructed in the mid 1960's as part of the subdivision development. Due to continued deterioration of the road surface an overlay is required. In 2006, Council accepted a petition by area residents to stop the proposed asphalt paving overlay. The project would involve the spot repair of concrete curbs and the application of a 50mm asphalt pavement lift.
Area residents will be contacted by the contractor prior to construction expected July, August to avoid conflict with the school.

| The total proposed budget for this project is $400,000. The funding for this project is $150,000 from Basic Capital Grants, $78,824 from City Capital Revenue and $171,176 from Debenture Local Improvement. |
