Bridge Deck Rehabilitation 44 Avenue, 47 Avenue, 54 Avenue
Overview
The City of Camrose Transportation Master Plan (2007) indentified the need for a Five Year Bridge Rehabilitation Program. There are four bridges within the City of Camrose that have been constructed to standard Alberta Transportation designs. The bridges were built between 1974 and 1986 and are starting to show signs of deterioration.
The scope of work for the 44 Ave bridge (west of 50 Street), 47 Avenue bridge (east of 51A Street) and 54 Avenue bride (west of 56 Street) is to replace the existing asphalt deck with a 150mm reinforced concrete slab. This repair should extend the life of the bridges by an estimated twenty years.
The supervision of this project will be conducted by Engineering Services. For further information contact 780-672-4428 or email.
