50 Street from 44 Avenue South to the North Boundary of the Creekview
Overview
As part of the conditions of the 2006 Creekview Development Agreement, the developer was required to provide a contibution towards the roadway improvements on 50th Street abutting the project. Through this agreement, the City of Camrose also agreed to undertake the paving on 50th Street to the limits of the new Creekview Development on a local improvement basis.
On April 26th, 2010 Council gave first reading to Bylaws 2644-10 and 2645-10 for the local improvement of roadway reconstruction, paving, urban trail, streetlighting and curb and gutter on 50th Street from 44th Avenue south to the north boundary of Creekview. An open house was held May 6th with area residents to discuss the project including apportionment of costs, scheduling and access to properties during construction.

The total proposed budget for the 2010 and 2011 components of this project is $2,200,000. The funding is $1,920,000 from the Alberta Municipal Infrastructure Program, $80,713 from Current Revenue and $199,287 from Debenture Local Improvement.
