Winter maintenance is managed to meet specific level of service standards as set out by the Snow Removal Bylaw and Winter Road Maintenance Policy to provide safe roads and sidewalks.    

Roadways
Roadways are cleared based on a priority system to ensure the roadways with the highest traffic columes are addressed first.

Public Sidewalks and Walkways
Public sidewalks and walkways are cleared based on a priority system to ensure user safety and accessibility. Sidewalks adjacent to private properties are the responsibility of the property owner. 

Snow Dump Site
The City operated facility for public users and private haulers is located at 41 Street, south of 44 Avenue.  To arrange for access contact Public Works at 780-672-5513.
